If you want used, try ebay because people near you may have posted some for pick-up. Also, look in the classifieds for garage sales that include furniture and look on craigslist and kijiji.com for what you want. Finally, if you find wicker furniture in the wrong color, it does take paint very well and it wouldn't be hard to spray paint it white.

I bought a used wicker bedroom set. It is white and I want to paint it. My bedroom colors are brown and olive green. I thought about painting it dark brown. Should I leave it white? Another choice was a nice green color. Decision, decisions. I need help. What are your suggestions? Will it be too much to paint it a sage. Decorators I am waiting for your reply.

The whole wicker bedroom suit is being given to me for free so I can't beat that but I don't want to put white twin beds in boys room.
can it be removed with paint thinner or something. or do I just need to paint/stain over it. I want it to be a natural brown wicker color? Help

I think you need to paint over the white (if this is truly a natural product like wicker and not a plastic replica) because you'll never be able to remove the white paint - because of all the texture, nooks, and crannies in the furniture. I don't think stain will work over the white paint as it needs wood or wicker bare to be able to soak into the surface of the material. However, there are gel stains available now but I've never worked with those so I can't say whether they'll work for you. Oh, yeah - if you paint the furniture, be sure to clean it well, use a primer, and then a durable paint - boys can be hard on furniture!

I'm moving and I have a white wicker bedroom set that I've had since I was about 5 or 6. It's in great condition, but the paint is starting to fade. I want to keep it the same color, but is there a certain paint or process that I should use?

I should think you can spray paint it like you would outdoor wicker furn. Just take it outside & spray it. Use a good quality paint, like krylon.
