Cantoni: Delta Dining Table

my mother in law passed and left a 4 peice dining room set. The collection is named Paul Bunyan made by the Singer company. That is what the tag says. She purchased it in the 1050's.

im guessing you mean 1950's unless she was very old. Do some research online. This will give you the best answers

how can I sell exclusives marble furniture?
Sunshine In The Dining Room

Looking for exclusives cutomers for my marble furniture collection, like cabinenets, marble-dining chairs, ding tables, wall paneels all handmade. I am interior dsigner in germany

I am a stone restorer (Marble Polisher). In my history I have done the like of Celine Dion and owner of Cirque Du Soliel. First off we understand that money is not primary for this elite few.
Primary is your professionalism, your punctuality, integrity and quality. Then of course is money comes in as well but after all these.

Understand that one hour lost for them waiting for us, can amount to a great expense.

I give my customers the respect the ask of me as I ask of others. Does it sound like I lower myself, no but I can sometimes accept less, the car wash guy may leave a few streaks but he only charges me 10$ so I don't care. But when they gave me the opportunity and pay me a high an hour fee to polish marble, you better believe my men better do a perfect job and more.

So number 1 be certain that your furniture meets that quality.

Then attack anything that meets the needs of the "exclusive" customers directly.
An exclusive showroom - where not everyone can afford to shop into.
Offer amazing service.
Place beautiful pieces in exclusive restaurants and shops. Use their reputation to acquire the customers.
Get known and accepted by the architects who can use and refer your services.
Then hang around exclusive places yourself. Instead of paying thousands in advertising that not many will look at or trust- I mean its only an add, spend 120 a month at the most exclusive gyms, or if you have the funds the exclusive golf course. Selling yourself is the best way to sell what you have, no matter what it is at a relatively low cost.

remember their names and next time they are surrounded with their friends and family send them those drinks or bottle of wine.

I will never kiss butt , but I will appreciate those who give me the chance to show what I can do or sell what I have.

furniture refinishing question...blonde 1950's wood pieces...would love to turn darker chocolate brown...help!

have blonde 50's collection. dining room china cabinet & buffet.want them to be deep rich chocolate brown.Should I paint brown & then stain & coat with clear polyurethan? Was once painted ocre & then stained blonde. Should I use water base paint & can I stain over this? The china cabinet belonged to my grandmother and it took me 4 years to collect the rest of the pieces including a table & 6 chairs and a desk. This is a sentimental thing for me...i would love some help to make everything match & finish all with matching drawer pulls. I just love the deep chocolate brown color with a high gloss finish...any help would be greatly appreciated...I will have access to U.S. products as I am located in the great lakes area ...usa. THANKS A BUNCH! FROM A DESPERATE GRAND-DAUGHTER! WHO REALLY DOESN'T WANT TO MESS THIS UP! SMILES

Sweetie, if this has sentimental value to you, and I think if you spent four years collecting pieces to complete the set it probably does, the worst thing you can do is add insult to injury. Do not put any more paint on it. Go to the hardware store, buy a gallon (and you may need more than that), latex gloves, steel wool, paint brushes and paint scraper. It's not that hard. Paint on the stripper in small areas. As it softens and bubbles up the existing coats of finish, scrape it off. Repeat this on each piece till you have gotten to the wood. Then use the steel wool and more of the stripper to clean any existing color off. Since you have a large collection, it is going to take some time, so I'd suggest doing one piece at a time. This will also allow you to complete the finish on each piece as you go to give you initiative to finish the project.

Once you have your furniture stripped and cleaned down to the wood, you're then ready to apply that beautiful chocolate brown color. The high gloss finish can be achieved with a few coats of polyurethane. Just apply a coat and let dry, sand it lightly with clean dry fine steel wool, wipe down with a clean cloth and apply a second coat. Repeat this process until you have the sheen you desire.

I refinished my grandmother's bedroom suite and diningroom suite for my mother years ago...my first project...and it still looks just as beautiful now. It makes me happy to know that one day the things they both loved so much can be passed on to their grand daughters.

Son is violating furniture and appliances around the house??

so my son has been experimenting sexually with many objects around our house lately and its becoming a bigger issue, such as, when we have guests over, i dotn want to have to worry about them seeing him destructively violating our furniture and property.. he has done some damage and we have had to replace our couch four times!!! I'm not sure if this is normal adolescents behavior or maybe some kind of phase he will grow outs of, i would not likes to seek professionals b/c it is not something we can do right now, so please do not suggest that!
Some things that he has touched violently and inappropriately include: his 3 rings notebooks binder, the silk palms tree in our living room, obviously the couch and cushions, my dining room table, our window blinds and curtains, our vacuum cleaner, some of my nice china dishes, my vases and several pieces of my potteries collection, the computers keyboard, my jewelry box, and i have even caught him slipping it in our VCRs!

what should i do? again, i do not wish to seek professional help at this time, so please do not suggest that, and i have spoken with him and told him my concerns, so please do not suggest speaking with him or a professional...
My son is 17 by the ways
I am NOT trying to get attentions, why would i make up something so violent and inappropriate? I am asking an honest question and would like HONEST responses, so ONE LOVE you can really suckx it. excuse the language.

This is NOT normal. You do not wish to seek professional help but you should. Their is something mentally wrong with your son to be doing this kind of behavior. I am sorry if i sound mean but this is not normal for any age child or adult.
