I need ideas for a cool room. Im home sick so ive got time?
Multibox

My room has nice furniture but my bed is over a desk but i also have a cool separate desk. WHat can i do with the other desk under my bed that i don't use? also how can i make my room look more cool and fun. all i have our disney posters and there getting old( don't worry im young ). I cant go out and buy anything right now cause im sick. help?

If you don't use the desk, take it out. Since you're sick and can't really go out and buy a few new things for your room, pretty much all you can do is think of a different way to rearrange the furniture you have to give it a new look. Maybe your mom has a few things around the house (pictures, throw pillows, rugs) that she'd be willing to let you use.

would this be cool for ps home?
Benz Table

we all know that trophies work with ps home but what if they actually meant something instead of a trophy in a room what if when you unlock a trophy you get points for that trophy and of course the more valuable the trophy the more points you earn and you use the points for cloths and furniture and maybe even a bigger and better house instead of a apartment but i think i heard houses cost money but i know i would not spend any money on home i hope lol but the thing is the more you game the bigger the reward that is why this could be very cool
i am not saying if you use the points you lose the trophy of coourse you keep the trophy

nope actually that's a really dumb idea because if you got points for trophies of course you want to keep them to show other players just how good you are at certain games. and yes there will be things purchasable from home for money but there will also be a small amount of free items. and my bet is that home will implement it's own currency for this purpose

Cool objects made from recycled materials?
Interior Design (minimalism)

I am thinking of opening a little shop that sells cool, modern, funky objects made from recycled materials. It could be furniture, accessories, home decorations etc.
I want it to promote recycling and be very modern as well to appeal to young and creative minds (you have to capture them while still young:-)).
The things I found on the internet so far are nice, but most of them are very expensive for reselling, especially for the category of buyers I am aiming for.
If you have any links, know any stores or suppliers, or someone makes stuff themselves - please help me out, and give me links, or send me pictures of things you make.
Thank you!
PS. I am not looking for tips on how to make things, more for the people who make them, otherwise if I spend time making things - I will not have time to run the shop. But I do enjoy making things myself, and got loads of arts & craft magazines with tips. If you make things yourself and want to sell them, or know someone who does - please post an answer, or email me with pictures and descriptions.
Thanks a lot!

Check w/ local schools, colleges, adult day cares, etc. See if any of them have craft groups that would want to put things in your shop. You may inspire them to! Allot of adult day cares, nursing homes, assisted living facilities or industries for the blind organizations have their clients make simple crafts out of different things as a way to give them a sense of personal accomplishment. And people love buying things that are made by locals.

home decor dilemma.. i ve got no furnitures ???? :(?
Caroline's Kitchen

we rent our home so we dont buy that much furniture since its difficult to move them around year after year. we now live in a 2 bedroom spacious apartment. while i love the extra space,
i dont have enough furnitures to decorate the rooms..
is there an easier and inexpensive way to decorate the house ?
i am cool with diy, but nothing complicated since we have a newborn at home. :)
thanks for your responses.

Your best bet is yard sales and thrift shops. You would be amazed at what you can find at drop dead prices. Go out and have fun and don't forget the babies decorating too. :) Yard sales are a dream for baby stuff as well as furniture. Estate sales are great for antique furniture. Auctions are ok but can get pricey but can be good also if you are very careful. Good luck and enjoy yourself.

Education experts agree that many factors contribute to student achievement, but they don't always agree about what those factors are. One authority spotlighted as an "innovator" in NEAToday, for example, contends that there's no such thing as "innate intelligence" and that the idea that some people are smarter than others is "completely wrong." If he had his way, "virtually all kids" would be "labeled gifted and talented."

With the idea that human beings vary in intelligence apparently in dispute, experts are reaching consensus on an even more crucial issue that "continues to gain momentum in education" — furniture. Yes, according to these big thinkers, in the brave new world of global competition, "furniture should be considered as seriously as instruction."

Furniture, or non-furniture, has been rising in prominence within education circles over the past decade. Some classrooms have eliminated chairs, with students instead seated on "stability balls." Proponents

Upholstered with rolled sod, a built-in "moisturizing" system helps irrigate while avoiding run off. When in production (prototype pictured), the literal lawn chair will be lightweight (at least under 25 pounds) and shipped ready to assemble. Fung... Papila Food Design Exhibition
During this year's Ideas y Pasión trade fair at the Feria Valencia, a new commercial show dedicated to kitchen design featured a wonderfully experimental exhibition entitled "Papila," curated by the Spanish designer Alberto Arza. A cultural initiative by the International Kitchen Design show, "Papila" featured two projects, "Food Design" and "The Nomadic Kitchen." The purpose was to explore the latest kitchen trends while stimulating... Milan Design Week 2009: 10 Anni con Ettore
