For the furniture I suggest foreverredwood they have lots of wood furniture there. You can call them and ask queries.

Hope this can help you.

My dogs lift their legs and pee on the furniture when I leave the home.?

I have 4 dachshunds 3males and 1 female. Two of the males seem to go and lift their leg on a piece of furniture and carpet when I leave the home. Can I get some alarms and place them around where they go and if the alarm goes off will it scare them and they will not go there again? I am discouraged and tired of cleaning it up when I get home.

Do your dogs have anxiety problems? If they don't feel secure when you leave, this could be a way that they deal with the "stress" of you being gone. If you think this could be an issue, you could try the trick of leaving for short increments (1 or 2 minutes) and then slowly increasing the periods until they seem calmer.

Also, you could put them on a stricter meal plan (2 meals a day) and only give them water during certain increments. Taking them out every 4-5 hours should keep them from urinating inside.

Before you try any of these though, be sure to use a pet deodorizer carpet/furniture cleaner. If you use normal cleaning products, it won't get rid of the smells, and the dogs will continue to urinate in the same spot (they tend to pee where they smell it)

Sims 2 -is there a way i can move a family into the bin yet still keep furniture and decorations in the home?

I spent a lot of time doing this house and now the family needs a bigger one...hoping to be able to move a new family in without having to decorate all over again. Any way?? Thanks:)

Not really, but the only way I can think of it happening is if you:

1. Move the family into a house of a friend or relative via the "Propose> Move In" interaction. You'll have to be on the friend/relatives lot of course.

2. When they except and are moved in with these friend/relatives, use the computer or news paper to find a new place.

If your family doesn't have any friends or relatives, You could move out one member via the newspaper or the computer and then add them into an empty lot, or a house and then do what I explained above.

Either way the items should still be there!

Disappearing furniture in Playstation Home!!! HELP!?

its only just been made and theres bound to be bugs alot have people have only just been able to get on so count yourself lucky and in the time being dont buy anything.

Is there a home remedy to keep pets from urinating in the same spot?

I have found home & store bought remedies for removing the stain and odor (mostly from carpets, rugs, and furniture). But not too much for removing the odor & stain from a hardwood or linoleum foor. And nothing to stop them from using the same spot again.

Use a empty spray bottle you have from like windex or such. Fill it with 1/2 water 1/2 vinger. It will netralize the smell and clean it as well as keep the animal from useing the same spot again.

There is a saying that you can never go home again. While some of that may be true (I'll never fit into my fifth grade dance costume, for example), when it comes to an actual home, I think the statement is a little misleading.

Life changes, and our home reflect those changes. In my life, I've lived in a smaller starter home filled with mismatched hand me down furniture, a sleek luxury apartment with hip accessories, a home filled with a crib, a high chair and lots of pastel and baby things, and a home where toys seem to have taken over. I've lived in construction zones and in quite small rooms of my own. I lived in houses with more yard than house and a tiny New York apartment with no yard at all. All of these places were and still are home to me.

It has been a few months since I wrote for the home blog here at families.com, but now I get the opportunity to do so again. I'm excited for a number of reasons. There have been plenty of adventures involving my home, from a semi-upgraded bathroom to one weird day where we were reminded about the importance of a garage for our home.
