Home Furniture Warehouse

There used to be a "used item" warehouse nearby Kallang MRT. However, it's gone now. Don't know where it has moved to. Does anyone have any idea of their new location?

You might want to try ebay or maybe the classifieds (online or straits times) to clear your furniture. Don't think there's really much of market for second hand furniture unless they are antiques.

I find this very sexist and no I would not shop there. It sounds demeaning and condescending. My father was an engineer, and a pilot. He taught both skills for years. He raised me believing I could do anything. He taught me self determination, how to build, fly, do my best and also how to be an expert shot on the shooting range.

I am a 30 year old male who has been working in the warehouse of a furniture/appliance/matress/electronics store for 6 years. And in that store there is a coffee house. In the first 3 years of me working at that I have been going to that coffee shop inside my store. The owner is chinese lady and her husband(in their early 40's). When I'd go we'd joke around with co-workers and the owners of that coffee house. I have been giving that lady business for those three years. I would also leave a tip in the tip mug. I noticed she was always nervous around me. Once when I was in the warehouse she came to throw out her garbage and said something to me. Since her english isn't the greatest I could not really understand what she saying. She wrote down a email and password, and she gave me that piece of paper. Later after work I rushed home and entered that email address and password. I was shocked at all(100's) of "I miss you entries". Now she is following my car. What do I do?

I am new to the area and we had Old Time Pottery in Florida. It is a large warehouse type retail that had affordable home accessories, fake flowers, kitchen supplies, pottery, art, glassware, outdoor furniture, wicker, etc. Is there anything similar to this near Crystal Lake, IL or Barrington, IL?

Congrats on moving to the Northwest Suburbs.

Drive down to Algonquin. There's a Home Goods store down there that might fill your needs. There's a whole lot of other stores you can get affordable stuff from, so don't feel locked into one just for convenience.

Word of advice (as if you need more): better to decorate little by little than try to establish a theme all at once. My wife and I have taken almost four years to decorate our house, from painting the walls to the last wall hanging, and we're not done yet. We've been patient in finding just the right items that fit into a theme. Besides, our finances didn't take a massive hit all at once. :-)

i bought 6000$ worth of ashly furniture a few months ago and its already falling apart1 SO today i went looking for livingroom furniture and every stores prices are so different. 1 entertainment center was 2800$ the guy told me, while he was getting some books he left his book on the table the warehouse price was 1800$
THAT was for a broyhill chateau calais entertainment center, now i go home and look up the reviews they are all poor? furniture falls aprt. so where do i get quility furniture today for a decent price like he old days?

This furniture is not only good, it's very eclectic -- very original stuff. I know some people who have purchased from this store and are very pleased.
