In Orlando, FL, I found a store that sells great furniture (for great prices) that was previously used in model homes for sale. Is there a store like this in Albuquerque? Thanks for your help!

or where can I buy "model home" furniture in the NJ, PA, DE, NY areas?

I know of two places on the Main Line for consignment furniture that are worth checking out. Like any other shop of this sort, it is always a case of hit-and-miss. Sometimes they will have nothing at a good price, and other days there is the perfect item and the price seems like they are giving it away. :-)

I am looking specifically in the metro Denver, Colorado area.

Usually these model homes are built by huge development companies and, if the buyer of the home doesn't want the furnishings, they move the furnishings back to the warehouse and move it into the next model home. They will use the model furniture at least one more time, if not more often than that. When they do choose to get rid of them, most builders will give the furniture to charity; send it to consignment shops; sell it at rock-bottom prices to their employees as a company perk; or hold a public sale or auction. Contact these developers in your area, such as John Laing Homes, to find out when they intend on having a sale. Also, if there is a Parade of Homes, contact them.

The Miramar you speak of must be the air base near San Diego?
There is no actual town called Miramar in CA. There is a place called Miramar Beach near Half Moon Bay...near San Fransico.
