Looking for The Home Show furniture outlet?

does anyone know the correct name of the furniture outlet mall with 3 locations in the GTA (Woodbridge, Scarborough are two locations) where they had a whole house inside the bldg. and you can shop direct from the manufacturers. I'm actually trying to find out if they have a web site but my searches using "The Home Show" and variations of furniture outlet etc. are all coming up blank.


well.. im not sure if this is waht youre looking for.. but i just moved to houston recently and we went to IKEA and they had rooms set up as displays and they give you wonderful ideas on how to set up to your likings... and very reasonable prices might i add.... they have a website... www.ikea.com ... hope this helps. if not.. then im clueless.. just FYI

Buying a new home, the "show" furniture in new houses...?

Do they usually give you the option to buy it with the house?


yes ,i've staged more houses than i care to mention but yes its always for sale along with accessories either by room or the entire lot.a tip for you is never pay what they 1st ask you can really wheel and deal on this one.And always-always thoroughly inspect everything! some items have been used in excess of 50 times and may have damage that's staged so not to be visible to the room.i've set sofas with broken legs even that no one would ever know!

Can anyone let me know which one is the biggest furniture show in the States?

I am interested to visit the biggest home furniture show in the United States in 2007


The answer that usually gets thrown out is High Point this is primarily were new furniture stores start to build product this year is a little more quiet than others due to imports. The Vegas World market is soon becoming the alternative.

The Sanfrancisco Market is just about gone the key question is what is your buying our selling goal.

if you buy a show home do you always get all the furniture that you see in the house? ?



Sometimes you do, but when I bought a show house 10 years ago, buying the furniture was an option, and it was soooo cheap, we bought most of it. I think that the builder is just glad to get rid of it as it probably won't suit another house style.

    Newark Mayor Cory Booker, who has garnered national attention for his passionate defense of New Jersey's largest city, is taking his act to the "Tonight Show." Host Conan O'Brien has been engaged in a playful feud with Booker since Sept. 23 and scheduled the 40-year-old mayor as a guest on his show Friday.

    The exchange began last month when O'Brien poked fun at Booker's new health care plan for gritty Newark -- long an icon for urban decay -- saying it consisted of a bus ticket out of town. Booker fought back with a humorous response on YouTube in which he "banned" the 46-year-old redhead from Newark Liberty International Airport.

    The back-and-forth continued until Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, the nation's top diplomat, playfully broke up the spat Oct. 8.

    "I look forward to our summit," O'Brien said in a statement. "My apologies for bumping Brad Pitt."

    Political experts have lauded Booker's use of new media such as YouTube, where his response to O'Brien has been viewed more than 176,000 times, and Twitter, where he has 826,000 followers.
