We live in PA, have a 1 1/2 year old great tempered pure bred Boxer, AKC registered,neutered, up to date with shots. Great with kids and very friendly. We need find him a new home. He is free to a good family that can give him the time our family can no longer. We love him but have his best interets at heart. He has to spend to much alone time and that is not fair to him. Help if you can be the new loving family this dog needs.
Surrender him to a boxer rescue. They will try to find him the best home possible. They will take applications, do home visits, call references, get the dog vetted, etc. All in all they will everything they can to ensure that your dog will get the best home possible. Good luck to you. Be wary of every potential adoptor if your giving him away free. Please surrender him to a rescue so they can do the necessary checks.
If you love your dog, give him to a rescue. They are experienced in rehoming dogs.

My husband wants to terminate them, but I would like to find a friendlier way to ask them to find a new home. I don't want to harm them. My husband is afraid they will bring ticks and fleas around our house and then to our dog.

I am interested in a newly constructed townhouse in Gloucester County, NJ. There is no tax information listed, so I looked at other townhouses in the development, but the range was anywhere from $7000-$9000/yr, which is a large range. I would like to find out a more exact value before I purchase this home. How do I get this information if it is a new construction, with no previous year's tax information?
Contact the county or a realtor to get the tax rate in the county and then assume that the assessed value will be your purchase price.
Nice to know that someplace else also has horrible property taxes (like us in upstate NY).

I found a young cat (8 months?) at a very busy intersection, wondering into a Walgreens. I have placed ads on craigslist, the news paper, at the vet, the county animal shelter, petfinder, and another pet website. It’s only been a few days, but so far no luck. It has been well below freezing at night, so I would think his owners would be worried about him. I know it’s possible that he was dumped off… how long do you think it is appropriate to wait before trying to find him a new home?
It sounds like the cat has already found a good home given the effort you've put forth so far. I would give the owners a week or two to find your ads since they might not be looking in those places. Also try putting up some fliers around the neighborhood you found the cat in, this might bring more leads. You should keep in mind the cat might be feral and not have come from a home. In which case, if you want to keep it, you should take it to the vet's to get its shots.
