I am thinking of moving to Mexico and may be home schooling my son, I am looking for any information from those who have or do home school their children.
Homeschooling in Mexico is very easy, because there are no clear compulsory attendance laws. I would suggest you contact Mike Richardson with El Hogar Educador.

"Specifically in Nuevo Leon."
Of course if you know the answer, this would also be helpful. (this does not need translation, thanks)

I'm a single Mom, relocating myself and my kids out to Albuquerque...but I am pretty nervous about the prospects, I have horrible credit since my divorce.
I will have a roommate with better credit however, so I'm hoping that might help my chances of finding someone to rent us a home...I am just nervous about not finding one before the school year starts, I'd hate to have no home for my children come the new school year.
My father has offered to co-sign for us and has impeccable credit...but is that likely to even be an option, does anyone allow for co-signers in that situation?
We have been paying $1,400.00 a month currently and are hoping to move and pay closer to $1,000...if there is anyone from the area, could you give me some ideas about the rental market within the area.
...also, information on the High Schools would be helpful as well.
Thanks in advance.

Somber salute: Westbrook remembered as passionate, hard-working, loving
FARMINGTON — Sgt. 1st Class Kenneth W. Westbrook once told Capt. Bryan Finch in the Persian Gulf War that soldiers in Westbrook's unit were tired of waiting around.
"They want to get out there and be soldiers," Westbrook said at the time, according to Finch.
Finch told Westbrook he would live to fight another day.
Friday morning, Westbrook lay in a casket covered with the American flag on a stage in the Farmington Civic Center.
"You now lie eternally and you will never have to fight again because you live with the prince of peace, Jesus Christ," Finch said.
Hundreds of people filled more than half the civic center theater seats as speakers remembered Westbrook as an intense, passionate, funny man who had a strong religious faith and who was dedicated to his wife, Charlene, and three sons, Zachary, Joshua and Joseph.
Westbrook, who grew up in Shiprock, died in Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C., on Oct. 7. He was wounded in Ganjgal Valley, Afghanistan,
Mom home-schools kids over H1N1 threat | KRQE News 13 New Mexico
RIO RANCHO, N.M. (KRQE) - The H1N1 swine flu vaccine is due in New Mexico at the end of the week, but one Rio Rancho parent isn't waiting and instead is taking matters into her own hands.
Shannon Bissell-Peterson, a licenses teacher, decided to home school her children after hearing about the 5-year-old girl in the community who died from the H1N1 virus early last week. Health officials reported the girl had no chronic medical conditions contributing to her death, and school officials identified her as a student at Rio Rancho Elementary School.
Rio Rancho's Martin Luther King Elementary School is closed for fall break, but when it reopens Monday the Bissell kids--Jenna, Jeremy, and Brianna--won't return with their classmates.
“As more and more people get sick I think more and more people are going to start pulling their children out of school and at least taking what precautions they can,” she told KRQE News 13.
She feared her kids might bring the virus home to 4-year-old Colin.
