I already know about the company's home page. It does me no good.
This store shows that they have them, but you'll have to call to purchase.

So I was driving back home when I see this squirrel in the middle of the road. I pull over and he doesn't run, so I get out and start pushing ...
I have tried Dr. Scholes and not been impressed. I really need some good shoes as I'm on my feet all day and the floors are concrete. We have mats to stand on but they really dont help much, besides, we are all over the store helping customers and not allowed to just stand at the register. Anybody with a good suggestion? If you know anything about New Balance, please let me know. I've also heard the Nike Airs are good.
Thank you
My stepdaughter works in the medical field and is on her feet all day long. She swears by Sketchers sneakers...her feet aren't achy at the end of the day and her back doesn't hurt (she had back surgery about 10 years ago).
I've been doing this workout program at home. It involves a variety of different workouts, so it's not as though you're doing the same thing all the time. Anyway, I wear running shoes, but something tells me I should wear more of a cross-training shoe. Do you think that's a good idea?
And if so, what kind of cross-training shoe should I get? Who makes a good cross-training shoe: Nike, New Balance, Adidas, etc.?
Thanks!
I have women's cross training shoes my Reebok I got them at Famous Footwear and I LOVE LOVE LOVE them, however as I was advised by our fitness friend they are more like a ballet shoe and don't provide the support needed for exercises that involve balance.
You want a sturdy shoe that you can easily do a lunge in without tilting from side to side not too soft.
If you're going to be on your feet for a long time I would get the shoe I described... I rather wear those than anything else I have.

I've worn New Balance running shoes. (can't remember the exact one) and now I'm wearing Asics 1130 Gel. Both have pretty decent amount of support. One day I forgot my shoes at home so i wore the sneakers i wore to school.

They were kind of shaped like the ones above. Different brand and design but you get the idea. It didn't have too much support and was very flexible. We had a workout that day also. Since I was only a freshman and it was my first season of distance track, I only did 10 400s. I somehow ended up running them at all 80-83 and the last one at 76. And all the quarter repeat days we had after that when I wore "running shoes", the fastest I ever ran was a 95 even to now. I'm way overdue in buying new running shoes and I was wondering if the excessive support in the shoes are slowing me down? Thus hindering my performance for races even when i wear spikes.

I work in retail and I am standing or walking on a poured concrete floor up to 10 hours a day. We have rubber mats at the cash register and in other places where you stand for an amount of time, but a lot of time is spent folding at tables where you can't just drag a mat to. I've tried croc's and new balance. running shoes, flip flops [which actually end up hurting the least] and a ton of other shoes. I can get up in the morning and go jogging just fine, go for long walks outside of work, walk around the city, but its standing on the concrete all day that hurts my feet so much. Even a 5 hours shift i come home barely being able to walk. My arches hurt the worst between the middle of the arch and my heel. Any good shoe selections under $100. I used to have some shoes-for-crews ones but they were hideous and i wear skirts and dresses a lot, so they'd have to be fashionable. and not leather.. because leather is icky ! haha Thanks!
I don't know if you have tried nursing shoes or not, but Nurses are always on their feet. Must be something in them that really helps. But you might first want to try the gel or air inserts for your best shoe you have now and see if they help. Also when standing long periods, lift your feet with your toes, like up and down to strengthen the arches while at the same time, stretching the entire bottom of your feet. If you are a little over weight, that doesn't help matters much, so if you are, try loosing a few pounds. I wish I could tell you some miracle cure for your problem, just remember, a lot of people have that same thing, even me. I am sure those tables that you are talking about where a lot of standing time folding, if a request is made to management, they might invest in some smaller mats, that can be easily placed there instead of the ones 6 to 8 feet long. They come in a lot of lengths, and maybe a male friend/worker will drag one to your table for you, while waiting to see if you can get smaller ones, which maybe they already have. Wishing you the very best young lady and good luck on finding some good needed relief..

“It’s important for women to be able to come to their local community hospital for their breast health needs,” Gillard said. “We want to make it easier for patients during a very stressful time to get the best care possible.”

New Balance 1225 | Best Running Shoes
New Balance 1225 is a premier Stability running shoe from New Balance. Like many other running shoes in the New Balance line, the New Balance 1225 has the new Stabilicore medial support system, which maintains the support from the previous years model, while shaving weight off. The 1225 is designed to take a lot of miles as its on the upper end of being a stability shoe, and can be a great option if you don’t want to make the jump to a bulky motion-control shoe.
The New Balance 1225 is a fairly expensive shoe, but designing a high stability shoe without sacrificing cushioning is going to take some design effort. If you are familiar with the 1224, you’ll get a familiar feel with the 1225 but with lighter weight because of the Stabilicore medial post change. One change is a change in the last to the performance PL-1 last. I have heard that this new last has been getting good ratings, as its also in the 769 and the 1063.
