free and creative way to advertise my home gift basket business?

Pass out business cards to everyone you meet, leave some at appropriate places.
Make (small) sample baskets and deliver them to offices of large companies with your contact info/pamphlet. Make them and give them to your friends and family as gifts. Ask them to pass the word.
I know this is not free, but you need to get your product out.
I think it's a great industry. Good Luck!

How can I shrink wrap a home made Christmas gift basket.?

I have a large gift basket made up but want to shrink wrap it so it will look more professional.

They make colored and clear wrap like celophane, you should be able to find some. Check your local dollar store. Anyway, use that, and then tie tons of ribbons around the top, and curl them. Create a bow or buy one, and make a tag. Will look great :)

If you moved into a luxury apartment, would you enjoy a gift basket from the agent? What should be in it?

Survey of customers for what items should be included in a welcome home gift basket to new tenants.

Gosh that would be really nice...I would be so appreciative of that... Do like an item for each room of the house...Maybe include.....Bottle of wine or champange and glasses or flutes (kitchen) and some gourmet cookies or crackers.....A couple of gift cards to local coffee shops or specialty stores....some scented candles or potpurri (bedroom, living room)..... Maybe a few garden items like flower seeds or bulbs (yard/garden) Oh, great idea...New address labels. That would be cool...If I think of anything else I will add it on.

does anybody owns a home based online gift basket business? how did you start out and how is it now?

do you have a businss license and do you buy from a whole saler or local stores. thanks advance!

I have an acquaintance who owned such a business. It did okay but not what she wanted. After two or three years she sold it. I think it would have succeeded if she would have given it more time. I believe she got most of her product from wholesalers. She had a lot of packaging and products specially made for her company.

No business license is required here in Nebr. You should speak with an attorney and an accountant before starting any type of business to make sure you are complying with all rules and aren't paying to much in taxes.

  • New Orleans Gift Baskets – Give the Gift of Soulful Flavor

There is no better way to enjoy bold, festive flavors than with New Orleans gift baskets . These unique samplers are a wonderful way to revisit the Mardi Gras city without leaving home. Once, the only way for you to experience the savory, spicy delicacies of New Orleans was to travel to Louisiana yourself, but this has now changed. If you or someone you know longs for some of the foods that are Creole Country specialties, Cajun gift baskets are a unique and great idea!

Chefs like Emeril Lagasse, Paul Prudhomme and John Besh have all been extremely influential figures who have popularized New Orleans cooking. They have helped define the regional cuisine and introduce it to people who have never even set foot in the city.

Tourists that have been lucky enough to visit the coastal city in person have all been dazzled and impressed by the impressive dishes and creative use of spicy seasonings and peppers in the region’s food. Wonderful etouffees, creative rice dishes and peppery pork medallions are now as well known as the delicate beignets, Po’Boys and tangy hot fried shrimp which have long been associated with the city of New Orleans.
